About Us

OUR MISSION.

Wild Light Films strives to tell human stories shaped by wild places.

Rooted in mountain life and personal heritage, we capture the small, honest, imperfect moments that illuminate who we are. We love beautiful landscapes and bold adventures — but what matters most to us is the human story within them.

Our mission is simple: to make outdoor films that stay with you long after the final shot.

CLIMBERS AND OUTDOORS PEOPLE FIRST.

We come from the culture we film.

We understand outdoor spaces and the culture that comes with them because we live it — and that’s why our work doesn’t just show the wild places; it feels part of them.

FOUNDERS NOTE.

I grew up with the mountains as part of my family story.

My heritage traces back to William Wordsworth, a man who believed that the smallest moments in nature could stay with us for a lifetime.

The outdoors isn't an abstraction to me — it's somewhere I’ve fallen in love with, somewhere I’ve struggled in and somewhere that has shaped me. It's where I learned what it means to pay attention.

Wild Light Films was created to honour that.
To tell human stories shaped by wild places.
To chase the wild light that reveals truth.
To make films that feel raw, emotional, and alive.

If our work has one aim, it’s to capture that feeling of being out there — vulnerable and deeply connected to something way bigger than yourself.
